Truncating reports at 50K doesn't always work. eg, reports for the getaddress-0.02 distro get rejected by the mail server because they're over 100K. The test output appears to be mostly in some non-ASCII charset, so I suspect that it's being truncated at 50K *characters*, which is more than 50K *bytes*.

Of course. Well... I think I'm going to call this "WONTFIX" for now and after we launch HTTP transport we can reconsider length limitations entirely. -- David

In recent versions, the maximum length has been substantially increased. (1 MB). Closing this ticket
