Subject: version 1.96.0 not picked up by cpanplus due to change in $VERSION scheme
previous version was 1.94, parsed by version.pm as 1.940 current version is 1.96.0, parsed by version.pm as 1.096 ==> previous version is seen as greater than current version, and thus parse-recdescent doesn't get upgraded. solutions are: using 1.960.0, or reverting to 1.96, or using 2.x (yes, versioning sucks)
