your $VERSION is 1.03 while the dist version is 1.03a
i guess this comes from the fact you forgot to bump $VERSION in 1.03
dist (it was still reading 1.02.01).
however, breaking sync between dist and module is not really a good
thing, especially for downstream packagers. this creates an exception
that needs to be dealt manually. (i'm packaging your module for mandriva
distribution)
in the future, i recommending bumping $VERSION to 1.04 and your dist to
1.04, to keep them in sync.
