Hmmm interesting. So, what exactly is it that's breaking? And do you have a suggestion on how else I might achieve my aim without doing this? -- Paul Evans

In my case rpms automatic find-requires scripts which autmaticall determine dependencies. In this case they find that FCGI::Async::ClientConnection is need but no package is providing it. As to ideas how to fix it. I don't think your "aim" is legit in the first place. I don't see any reason for hiding packages.

Fair enough. In that case I've unhidden them again, but left them undocumented, since they're not supposed to be prodded from outside. Actually I may move them to an "Internals" namespace... Expect a 0.19 on CPAN shortly, along with some other changes/fixes... -- Paul Evans
I've now uploaded a version 0.19 to CPAN which doesn't hide these any more. I'll close the ticket once it's worked its way through the mirrors. -- Paul Evans
