The XML::XPath missing warning you see is because that test uses Test::Without::Module to check that the right thing happens when XML::XPath is missing. I can see that it's actually a bit confusing so I'll look into putting something reassuring in the test output. And I'll look into why the other stuff is failing. Cheers Struan
I'm guessing this was run under TEST_AUTHOR=1? Embarrassingly I'd fixed this on my machine ages ago and then clearly not got round to releasing it and it'd not turned up as be default the tests don't do much speaking to the validator for speed and politeness reasons. Anyway, version 0.25 is on it's way to the CPAN and should fix this. Thanks Struan

Hum... I have both Test::Without::Module and XML::XPath installed. -- Love feeling your best ever, all day, every day? Click http://RadicalHealth.com/join for the easy way.

Sorry, I don't think my comment on this made it clear that this message is expected even if XML::XPath is installed. The test is there to check that this message is output when you use Test::Without::Module to fake XML::XPath not being installed. I now realise it's a little confusing so I'm going to try and either suppress it or at least spit out some extra text to say it's supposed to happen and that it's not a problem. Cheers Struan

Great! -- Love feeling your best ever, all day, every day? Click http://RadicalHealth.com/join for the easy way.
WebService::Validator::HTML::W3C 0.26 has just been uploaded to the CPAN which resolves the problem with the confusing warnings during tests.
