Subject: Feature request: Enable UTF-8 at runtime
Hi: Recently there was a note (Debian bug #537056) requesting a feature addition -- SpiderMonkey 1.8 and later supports enabling UTF-8 at runtime. So, JavaScript should be made to try enabling it at runtime if necessary. I'm not sure, but I think this is something that could benefit your users, so I'm forwarding the bug onto you (upstream). Feel free to let me know that you don't want to/cannot/do not feel it is necessary to fix it, and we can work on a patch for Debian. Cheers, Jonathan Original bug is: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=537056

Wait a minute, this bug was actually filed against an old module of your dist. I have checked the changelog and checked the file in question, it looks like this was fixed in version 1.12 of your module. I'm marking this as rejected, I apologize for being careless in my original bug report. Thanks again for your work :-)
