Subject: broken curl version detection
On build i get: DEBUG: Your currently installed libcurl version - libcurl 7.12.1 - is too old. DEBUG: This module doesn't seek compatibility with versions older than 7.10.8 IMHO libcurl 7.12.1 is not older than libcurl 7.10.8

Indeed. I forgot to actually compare the hexadecimal version numbers as hexadecimal version numbers. DUH! Anyways, I've released 4.09 that fixes this issue.
