Hi Roberto, can you send me the output from running "perl -V" please? Also, I've enclosed a small perl script that will print out the versions of the compression modules. Can you run it please? Finally, can you tell me the exact distribution (name & version) you are runing? cheers Paul

sure. in the same time I solved the issue using these commands: yum erase perl-Compress-Raw-Zlib yum update those steps solved the versioning problem. it has removed the package then done a new update and all seems fine now Show quoted text
