according to perlpodspec, L<crontab(5)/"DESCRIPTION"> => undef, # link text '"DESCRIPTION" in crontab(5)', # possibly inferred link text "crontab(5)", # name "DESCRIPTION", # section 'man', # what sort of link 'crontab(5)/"DESCRIPTION"' # original content Pod::Compiler currently issues a warning, but doesn't set the type to man (wrongly sets the type to head (pod)). I've updated Compiler.pm and t/02link.t Tarball is attached also available at http://crazyinsomniac.perlmonk.org/perl/files/Pod-Compiler-0.101.tar.gz
