/tmp is mounted noexec. And it's a RHEL box, so SELINUX wouldn't surprise me too much either. Michael

I can confirm I have had the same trouble for months: /tmp is mounted noexec. Problem is I can't temporarily mount /tmp as exec to install this module. It would be nice (if possible) if the module failed over to use the current .cpan directory.
