Subject: META.yml is not packaged due to MANIFEST.SKIP (easyfix)
The metadata file META.yml is not included with the tarball, as MANIFEST.SKIP excludes it from the packaging. This file is very useful in 3rd party packaging efforts... Can we please include it? :)

Seems to be fixed now. I just did a "make manifest" and it's in there.
