Hello, I were trying to install MQSeries 1.23 and MQSeries 1.28 with MQ Websphere trial 7.0. My configuration. $ uname -a Linux cero-one 2.6.24-24-generic #1 SMP Wed Apr 15 15:54:25 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux $ perl -v This is perl, v5.8.8 built for i486-linux-gnu-thread-multi Copyright 1987-2006, Larry Wall # perl Makefile.PL Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good ERROR from evaluation of /usr/src/MQSeries-1.28/MQClient/Makefile.PL: Have #endif without conditional in [/opt/mqm/inc/cmqpsc.h] at ../util/parse_headers line 96, <HEADER> line 357. Compilation failed in require at ./Makefile.PL line 15, <HEADER> line 357. I convert the rpm package to deb packages with alien, but without scritps. I've look /opt/mqm/inc/cmqpsc.h all coresponding #if and #endif. Attach the /opt/mqm/inc/cmqpsc.h file. Regards
Moises, Thanks for your report of issues with the MQSeries module, release 1.28. There's a known problem with MQ v7 and the existing release of the perl MQSeries module. It will be fixed in the upcoming 1.29 release of the MQSeries module, which will be released as soon as I get internal sign-off. In a separate email reply, I have attached a pre-release version of the module to this message. I'd appreciate it if you could test this module and confirm that it works correctly for you. Other external testers have reported success.
This is fixed in the MQSeries 1.29 release, now available on CPAN.
