If you want to relicense this under the same terms as Perl itself, I can include it in the distribution. Notice, also, that claiming copyright while saying that you are releasing it into the public domain don't quite go together.

Hi brian: Actually, if you read the text, it says "Copyleft" and "All rights reversed." But if you're reading somewhere else in the code and I've missed it, then please let me know. Also mentioned under the license section is that the code can be used under the terms of Perl (to match your license), if there is no notion of public domain (ie, in Germany where authors are not allowed to put their code in the public domain). Anyway, if you want to relicense it as Perl for inclusion in your module, then please feel free to do so. Thanks for the quick response! Best wishes, Jonathan On Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 4:43 PM, brian d foy via RT <bug-Module-Extract-Use@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text

I don't want to get into a debate on Copyleft, but it uses existing copyright law to enforce it's license. You are asserting a copyright and license. See GNUs own page for this: "To copyleft a program, we first state that it is copyrighted;" http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/ My only concern is to have exactly one license for everything in any of my distributions. Thanks.

brian: In that case, please change the license to the same terms as Perl. If you wish, I can change it myself and send you an updated copy. Cheers, Jonathan On Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 4:53 PM, brian d foy via RT <bug-Module-Extract-Use@rt.cpan.org> wrote: Show quoted text
