The is not enough information here to diagnose the problem, though it sounds like the bug is more likely in libvirt itself, rather than the Perl Sys-Virt binding. Please try & capture a stack trace of the crash, and provide the full output from running your test case with the LIBVIRT_DEBUG=1 environment variable set.
