Fonts from which PDF::API2 was developed have also continued to change.
These changes need to be considered.
Refactoring PDF::API3 should reconsidered what fonts should v. should
not be part of PDF::API3. Fonts are used by other programs should be
allowed float (ie develop independently) of PDF::API3, except maybe the
core ones.
For this round, simply merge new changes, but take design notes on what
options should be considered.
