Subject: | “Unicode::Regex::Set” vs UTS #18 specification |
Module: "SADAHIRO Tomoyuki > Unicode-Regex-Set-0.02 > Unicode::Regex::Set"
I like the idea behind “Unicode::Regex::Set”, but it does not meet the
syntax requirements specified by UTS #18. This should be an easy fix,
for the author, as the only problem is that the specification specifies
the doubling syntax “||”, “&&”, “—“, and “~~” as opposed to the singular
syntax “|”, “&”, “-“, and “~”. The reasons for this are explained in UTS
#18.
Technically this is not a bug, but it is best if we do not introduce a
new syntax that is not supported by the Unicode standard.
Thanks for listening! :-)
