Did you encounter a specific problem with this module? AFAIK, it passes the tests, and I see that other similar modules don't use utf8. -- Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni Close the world, txEn eht nepO.

Accentuated letters are not correctly rendered on platforms where LC_CTYPE is not utf-8 such as Win32. Here is a patch including the test case. Also available in my CPAN directory for distroprefs usage: "DOLMEN/patches/Acme-CPANAuthors-French-0.07-SAPER-RT45077-2.patch.gz".
