Subject: Task-Catalyst is obsolete?
I'm interested in trying Catalyst, and came upon an older site that mentioned Bundle::Catalyst is obsolete and to use Task::Catalyst to install. After doing that, I now have discovered that this is obsolete as well. I think this fact should be in the synopsis.

Or please update Task::Catalyst. Where was it deemed obsolete? I found the idea useful (in theory, because the install failed) to have a bundle of Catalyst::Runtime & Devel, Catalyst::Helper::Model::DBIC::Schema, HTML::FormFu and Catalyst::View::TT. FormBuilder could be removed, and versions brought up to date, and we'd have a pretty nice package. Attached is the failed install log. It appears that Catalyst::View::TT fails to install if Catalyst isn't installed.

Task::Catalyst hasn't been maintained very actively in the past. Now it is again, so i'm closing this ticket discussing whether or not it's obsolete.
