I'm curious what version of Test::Simple is actually installed - can you send the output of perl -MTest::Simple -e 'print $Test::Simple::VERSION';

Sure: 0.84 Thank you, I've deinstalled the pkgsrc package of p5-Test-Simple and reinstalled it from cpan, now also Test::XML::Deep installs without error. Best regards, \fer
