There's no easy way to see what date you fetched the highgroup.txt file. You can see when it was claimed to be updated by the SSA by looking at http://www.socialsecurity.gov/employer/ssnvhighgroup.htm which claims (right now) that highgroup.txt represents March 2009. (And all of 681-690 are active, which answers your question in bug 35187.) -- greg
