How to reproduce with Strawberry Perl 5.10.0.4: catalyst MyApp cd MyApp script\myapp_server.pl -r Catalyst will display "[info] MyApp powered by Catalyst 5.71000", then perl will crash. AppName: perl.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: perl510.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000ac777

I was advised to report this issue to Portable::Dist by Kieren Diment on #catalyst.

It appears to be an implementation problem with Strawberry Perl and its response to signal handling, as passing the same restart flag to ActiveState perl does not cause a crash.
