Hi!
DBD-Ingres seems to require Perl 5.8.8 due to the use of Newx in
dbdimp.psc. New was renamed to Newx in Perl 5.8.8.
The row
Newx(var->sqldata,1,char);
needs to be replaced with
New(0, var->sqldata, 1, char);
to get DBD-Ingres compile on Perl older than 5.8.8. Tested on v5.8.4
built for sun4-solaris-64int.
