The login creds passed to the new() routine aren't used, unlike what the manual says. You have to use the credentials() routine to set them. (I verified with tcpdump that they're not sent which is what showed me that it wasn't working)

My fault entirely, good catch. My test scripts weren't changed and I thought they were. I've just uploaded 2.10 with this fixed. Until it's propogated out to CPAN mirrors you can make it work by just removing the {} from the args to new().
