| Subject: | 64-bit perl (unsurprisingly) does not work with Mac::Carbon |
Carbon does not work in 64-bit mode so a 64-bit perl does not work. This is not a surprise but
it is painful because Bundle::CPAN does not work because File::HomeDir needs Mac::Files. Is
there any way that the information provided by Mac::Files could be made to work in a Cocoa
environment with Mac::Files unbunbled from Mac::Carbon?
And can Mac::Carbon bail out early if it's on a 64-bit system? eg by checking ptrsize
