Subject: | POD-Credentials shipping with inc/.author/ directory |
I'm not sure, but as far as I understand it, Module::Install based
distros shall never be shipped with a inc/.author/ directory included.
CC'd to ADAMK for comments if needed.
So POD-Credentials ships with it. This leads to the following behaviour
for all users who happen to have Module::Install installed themselves:
$ /usr/local/perl-5.10/bin/perl Makefile.PL
include
/home/sand/.cpan/build/POD-Credentials-0.03-8Hexsb/inc/Module/Install.pm
include inc/Module/Install/Metadata.pm
include inc/Module/Install/Base.pm
The path 'lib/' does not exist, or is not a file at
/usr/local/perl-5.10/lib/site_perl/5.10.0/Module/Install/Metadata.pm
line 222.
If I remove the empty inc/.author/ directory before I call the
Makefile.PL, then all looks fine.
So, whatever you did to get this empty directory included into the
tarball, revert it, it does not do any good.
Thanks!
