Subject: POD-Credentials shipping with inc/.author/ directory
I'm not sure, but as far as I understand it, Module::Install based distros shall never be shipped with a inc/.author/ directory included. CC'd to ADAMK for comments if needed. So POD-Credentials ships with it. This leads to the following behaviour for all users who happen to have Module::Install installed themselves: $ /usr/local/perl-5.10/bin/perl Makefile.PL include /home/sand/.cpan/build/POD-Credentials-0.03-8Hexsb/inc/Module/Install.pm include inc/Module/Install/Metadata.pm include inc/Module/Install/Base.pm The path 'lib/' does not exist, or is not a file at /usr/local/perl-5.10/lib/site_perl/5.10.0/Module/Install/Metadata.pm line 222. If I remove the empty inc/.author/ directory before I call the Makefile.PL, then all looks fine. So, whatever you did to get this empty directory included into the tarball, revert it, it does not do any good. Thanks!
direcotry inc/.author was removed, dont know how its got in there...
