Subject: Mark distribution with "DISCARD" if Makefile.PL was generated
It would be nice if distributions without a Makefile.PL would be marked as DISCARDed in the cpanreporters history. A recent example: ... x Getopt-ExPar-1.01/Getopt/t/1.t CPAN: File::Temp loaded ok (v0.20) Package seems to come without Makefile.PL. (The test -f "/usr/local/src/CPAN/build/Getopt-ExPar-1.01-I08HY4/Makefile.PL" returned false.) Writing one on our own (setting NAME to Getopt) CPAN.pm: Going to build H/HL/HLHAMILT/Getopt-ExPar-1.01.tar.gz Will not send CPAN Testers report with generated Makefile.PL. Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good ... But nothing was written into reports-sent.db, so the distribution is tested on each smoker run. Regards, Slaven
