Really weird: perl -T -MConfig -w -Mstrict -MScalar::Util=tainted -E 'say $Config{perlpath}; say "tainted: ", tainted($Config{perlpath})' emits /site/apps/perl-5.10.0/bin/perl tainted: 0 I certainly don't know what's different. More fun, hacking on 07_tainted.t itself shows %Config and $Config{perlpath} not being tainted, while $perl_path is. Close this. There's something bad with the perl binary. This e-mail and any attachments may contain information that is confidential and proprietary and otherwise protected from disclosure. Care to run through the P::C queue? You get enough of them, especially from one user, and they're discouraging, no matter how accurate they are. Hehe. I was excited about a potential bug in *my* code. ;) I have plenty of bugs in other people's code I can be fixing. But I'll keep in mind that P::C wouldn't be sad if I went bug swatting/triaging. ;) Cheerio, Paul (closing ticket)
