Subject: | Dumping 8-bit characters causes die() |
YAML::XS (0.27) doesn't seem to be able to dump characters whose ascii
value is greater than 127 (0x7F).
Test case:
----------
use YAML::XS;
print $YAML::XS::VERSION . "\n";
YAML::XS::Dump(chr(0x80));
Output:
-------
YAML::XS Error: Emit scalar '', error: expected SCALAR, SEQUENCE-START,
MAPPING-START, or ALIAS
