Hi. Thank you for the ticket. We have resolved this issue in version 1.54, available on CPAN at http://search.cpan.org/~petdance/Module-Starter-1.54/. This feature was admittedly only half-solved. Module::Starter now allows this in the core, but the CLI should be updated to reflect this. I can assure you it will be done in the near future and I will keep you updated about this as well.
