Hi Léon!
How are you?
I was trying to install Catalyst and some related modules on my machine
to give it a try. Almost everything was installed fine by cpan, except
Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst. Here are the details:
Perl..........................: ActiveState version 5.8.8
Operational system............: Windows XP (SP3)
Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst: version 0.43
*Problem* :
Installation "hangs" during "make test" (t\multi_content_type.t)
*Solution*:
Line 43 of t\multiple_content_type.t must be changed from
if ( $pid > 0 ) {
... to ...
if ( $pid != 0 ) {
... since fork() on Windows return a negative number. For more
details, see http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=675398
Thanks for your hard work! :-)
Ricardo.
