Hmm, I just noticed that I've put an eval around that as_gif test (in t/basic.t line 143). It seems it didn't catch that exception. Sigh. Could you help me tracing that issue? I don't have a graphviz install w/o gif support so I can't fix that easily. Thanks! -agentzh

Hum... I see no packages on Fedora 9 for anything like graphviz-git. Let me know the specific file/program/etc is being looked for and I'll make a note of the Fedora package which resolves this. This warning can be safely ignored. I've added a hint to the test. I've just released v0.16 which throws an exception when the external dot program complaints about something and returns a non-zero status. In this version, the as_gif test in t/basic.t should be skipped automatically when "gif" support is missing in the user's graphviz install.
