Subject: Incorrect module name?
The naming of this module is slightly wrong. A Scaled variable is one with a mean of zero and a standard deviation of 1, and the distribution of the scaled variable is of no relevance. A z score is a scaled variable for a normal distribution. So it only really makes sense to call this module Statistics::Zscore is you also intend to provide percentile data, or other information dependent on the assumption of normality in the module. Apologies for the pedantic bug report.
Though I am not good at English, I will try to write as well as possible. First, I am sorry I don't know a lot about mathematics and statistics. But the module which I aimed at is about "Standard Score(Z-Score)", and it is not the thing which is about "Scaled Variable". I think about "Standard Score(Z-Score)" as follows. Standard Score = (x - mean) / stddev So I think that it is right simply to call this module 'Statistics::Zscore'. If I write something that you don't understand, tell me about it and I will try to improve my English. thank you.
