To: tony [...] tmtm.com
Hi Tony, I am really interested in the Class::DBI modules and would like to use it with a Sybase database. But I have a problem where the case is not preserved for column labels. This causes a Sybase error when I declare any such column. Is there a way around this issue? Regards, Rex --- Dan Sully <daniel@electricrain.com> wrote: Show quoted text

Are there any plans to try and get this fixed? This is a rather gigantic bug, I'm pretty amazed that it was reported in 2003 and still hasn't been fixed. If its in the Class::DBI layer and they refuse to fix it, maybe Class::DBI::Sybase should expand to include a rewrite of Class::DBI that actually works with Sybase.
