Subject: Filtering special coded empty fields

Hello, I am using XML-Rules-1.03 under SuSe Enterprise 10, and perl version This is perl, v5.8.8 built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi I try to filter a XML file with shortened tags, it includes <tagname/> instead of <tagname></tagname> for empty fields. The resulting output file includes the follwing syntax: <tagname/></tagname> instead which is wrong. Is there any workaround? Thank you Andreas
Can you send me an example that produces this? I'm unable to replicate it.

Hi, yes of course, as attachments you receive test.pl, test.xml as input and the resulting test_out.xml. Andreas Am Do, 31.07.2008, 15:09, schrieb Jan Krynicky via RT: Show quoted text
