Subject: ._Makefile.PL and other OS X special files breaking dist
Out of the box the package fails to install due to the ._Makefile.PL and ._Multiple.pm files that are artifacts from packaging on OS X. After removal, the build, tests and install works fine.

Exclusion mechanism changed between OS X 10.4 and 10.5. Updated build process. -- Tom
