This is kind of the opposite of #27203[0]. The version of perlpod and perlpodspec PODs as shipped by Pod-Simple looks lacking behind the one in core. See Debian bug #481961[1] for more discussion about that. [0] http://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=27203 [1] http://bugs.debian.org/481961 The "fix" I am going to deploy for Debian is to not use the PODs from Pod-Simple at all, but this really should be solved between Pod-Simple and core teams. I've merged the fixes and updates from perl 5.10.1 back into Pod::Simple. Pod::Simple 3.09 will be synchronized with 5.10.1 (also with current blead, which is the same as 5.10.1). Thanks for the report. Allison
