I am trying to compile DBI-1.38.
The README says:
BEFORE BUILDING, TESTING AND INSTALLING this you will need to:
Build, test and install Perl 5 (5.005_03 or later).
It is very important to test it and actually install it!
(You can use "Configure -Dprefix=..." to build a private copy.)
But, during compilation I get:

Perl 5.006 required--this is only version 5.00503, stopped at Makefile.PL line 10.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 12.
kukku::root> uname -a
AIX admx 3 4 000206404C00
kukku::root> perl -v
This is perl, version 5.005_03 built for aix
