This is perl, v5.6.1 built for sun4-solaris ( 5.8 )

I am trying to use the jTDS driver from jtds.sourceforge.net.
during fetchrow_array I get the following error:
DBD::JDBC::st fetchrow_array failed: Data truncation at ./jtds.pl line 27.
DBI handle cleared whilst still active.
