Subject: Add docs about how to register a key with a keyserver
It would be helpful to add some brief documentation about how to register one's key with a keyserver, so that people (like me) who have never done this before can get a little more hand-holding through the process. -Ken
Using GnuPG is pretty well documented in a variety of places. I also don't think the Module::Install docs are a good place for a GnuPG tutorial. However, if you think a pointer to some existing documentation would have helped you in the process, I'd be happy to include a link to that in the docs. In that case, please reopen this issue and let me know where i should link to.

You mean Module::Signature, right? I know you're involved with both M::S and M::I. Show quoted text

I can't really remember my situation 7 years ago when I filed this report, but I agree that a pointer to existing docs would be good. As the maintainer of M::S I'm sure you'd know better what a good set of docs would be - I don't really know.

Yes, sorry. Too many modules. Show quoted text

Not so much. I know how to use gpg, and am very likely not aware of all the little things newcommers might be likely to trip over. I suppose I could link to http://www.gnupg.org/documentation/index.en.html which as a whole lot of docs for various audiences, but might make it a little hard for someone just starting out to find the relevant information. -- BOFH excuse #403: Sysadmin didn't hear pager go off due to loud music from bar-room speakers.
