05:56 < Ontolog> is use parent something specific to Catalyst? Assuming we did the right thing moving catalyst.pl from generating 'use base' to 'use parent' then the docs for parent need to be really clear that it's the new hotness and should be used for preference. I'm no big fan of hyping a module. I think you/Catalyst did the right thing by switching over form base.pm to parent.pm still, because parent.pm avoids some of base's pitfalls. Show quoted text
