Subject: | 'macintosh' not recognize as MacRoman |
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacRoman the IANA designation
for MacRoman is 'macintosh'
Some versions of Apple's Mail program send mail with charset=MACINTOSH
in the content-type. Encode does not recognize that as meaning
MacRoman. This led, recently to some really obnoxious failures in some
mail processing code. I will hack around it in the meantime, but it
would be good for this to Just Work.
