Subject: umu8_charset_name fails two tests on Linux
If I read the code correctly, if Unicode::Map8 is installed this test is not skipped but fails on Linux: t/utf8......1/? # Failed test 'Adobe Zapf Ding Bats' # at t/utf8.t line 48. # got: undef # expected: 'Adobe-Zapf-Dingbats' # Failed test ' c p 1 0 0 7 9 ' # at t/utf8.t line 49. # got: undef # expected: 'cp10079' # Looks like you failed 2 tests of 22. t/utf8...... Dubious, test returned 2 (wstat 512, 0x200) Failed 2/22 subtests See also http://bbbike.radzeit.de/~slaven/cpantestersmatrix.cgi?dist=I18N-Charset;maxver= Regards,

I still haven't figured this out exactly, but I did overhaul the Unicode::Map8 initialization and uploaded distro 1.392. We'll see how it goes... - - Martin
Haven't seen or heard of this problem happening any more, so I'll assume it's been fixed
