I am using ASTRO::ADS 1.20.7 and perl 5.8.8 on a Linux system. The tool adsquery does not handle correctly bibcodes containing &, for instance 2005A&A...441..589J or 2005Ap&SS.298..341W. $ adsquery --bibcode="2005A&A...441..589J" --debug Bibcode: 2005A&A...441..589J Connecting to ADS Received 100 papers Bibcode: 2005ESASP.597E..60E Score: 1.000 Title: Evaluation of the Performance of MERIS Spectrometer Data in Snow Cover Monitoring in the Boreal Forest Belt Authors: Eskelinen, M.; Pulliainen, J.; Regner, P. Patches for this and another bug in Astro::ADS 1.20.7 have been submitted to the author. CPAN not updated yet, possibly due to child process tying up author's cpu. Until he does, I've attached my patch here. YMMV

Sorry for the delay in getting the bug fix on CPAN. Although a patched version was available on github, I had to negotiate co-maintenance on the module with the author who's doing other things and then find the time to tidy up all the tests in between my real job. Thank you for your interest and please let me know if you find more bugs. They will be addressed much more promptly in future.
