Subject: | ~/.minicpanrc is useless on Win32 |
Most people on Windows don't have an easy way to get to their home
directory.
Windows doesn't recognise "dot" to mean "hidden".
Most people on Windows have no idea what the point of an "rc" file is.
There is no possible way to associate an editor to a file without an
extension.
All of these things make ~/.minicpanrc a silly place to put a
hand-edited config file (on Windows).
In fact, why are we hand-editing at all?
Why not just have a -s flag that "saves" the minicpan configuration for
the current invocation to a file that ISN'T expected to be typically edited.
That also means you won't need to do the missing documentation for the
.minicpanrc file format. :)
