I have an AIX 5.3 server running perl 5.8.2, which has the following for
the TZ environment variable: NFT-1DFT,M3.5.0,M10.5.0. The
Date_TimeZone function is dying with "ERROR: Date::Manip unable to
determine Time Zone."
We've tracked the problem back to a lack of DFT as a valid lookup value.
It appears that this DFT zone is only really used in AIX, and according
to google checks, 'DFT' is "Norway; France (CUT +1)". When we added it
to your lookup list, things worked fine.
