I have to come to notice getting all person's friends can be quite unusefull...and it might take way too much time to scan all ppl friends pages...take tom, he's got 230 millions friends on 5 million pages... Show quoted text

That's why we wrote WWW::Myspace::Data. It caches the friends so you only have to get them once. But yes, getting Tom's friends would be pointless and take a lot of time. Most people use it to get a list of friends of a band that sounds like theirs so they can invite that band's fans to listen to their music. I was wondering if I could have 1 millions friends on myspace. thought I would grab friends from tom's since he's got tons of (like 230 millions on 5 million pages). Yet, I was able to get up to 5000 ids 'cuz there was something weird with the paging system on myspace, it seemd like I was getting the same friends even though I was going forward with the pages: am I to take tom doesn't have all of that friends actually? how come myspace wouldn't let me browse all of his friends??? thanks Show quoted text
