Subject: Won't compile on Windows 2003 Server SP2
I tried compiling SVN-Notify 2.71 on a Windows 2003 Server (Service Pack 2) running Perl 5.8.8 b822. Two tests failed. I have attached the output from "Build test". The server also has IIS 6.0, Cold Fusion 8, ImageMagick 6.2.3-5, Subversion 1.4.6-r28521, Norton Antivirus 7.6, JRE 5 (update 6) and MS Office 2000 + .Net framework patches and hardware-specific device drivers. If there is any additional information needed, I can provide it. I would be willing to test patches if the developer does not have access to an equivalent build system. Thanks, Laker

David Golden just sent me a patch that I checked in. Would you mind checking it out of Subversion and making sure that all tests pass now? Repository is here: https://svn.kineticode.com/SVN-Notify/trunk/ Thanks, David

The patches allowed the package to build and install without errors. I will test the package functionality this week and confirm it works as expected. Thanks, Laker Show quoted text
