Hi there, I just found your nagios-downtime utility and was so excited to see about putting things into downtime and more importantly taking them back out. Then I realized it looks like it works for 2.x but, not 3.x. Is there any chance this will be available in 3.x ? Thanks so much and I apologize if this isn't something to open as a bug I was just so excited to see the API. thanks ! nora kiewlich --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Hey! Good to know someone found this module useful, I haven't checked Nagios 3.x yet (just read the change log briefly), but unless there's some major architectural difference it shouldn't be too difficult to port. It's probably just a matter of comparing the 'cmd' constants... I'm not sure if I'll have to the time to get to it soon, but I'll have a look at the cmd constants, meanwhile, you could give it a try yourself and let me know what you found :) Thanks for the interest in the module! hi, change the pathname of downtime_da_file and it works! # nagios < 3.x #$dt->downtime_dat_file('/usr/local/nagios/var/downtime.dat'); # nagios > 3.x $dt->downtime_dat_file('/usr/local/nagios/var/status.dat'); The only diffrent between nagios 2.x and 3.x regarding downtime.dat is: nagios 3.x dont use downtime.dat any more. therefor status.dat. by walid
