Subject: | Math::Trig(3pm) man page feedback |
I'm passing on documentation feedback that I received via a website I help maintain. I make no
representation about the correctness of the statements herein. :-)
An anonymous developer had this to say:
Inverses of hyperbolic functions are not called "arcus" but "area" - e.g. "area hyperbolic sine".
Hence we have "arcsin" but "arsinh" (no "c"). This mistake is common in the US for some reason.
