Subject: Missing command in Tie::Hash::Regex README
Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2008 16:27:13 +0100
To: Dave Cross <dave [...] mag-sol.com>
From: Philip Newton <philip.newton [...] gmail.com>
Hi Dave, http://search.cpan.org/src/DAVECROSS/Tie-Hash-Regex-1.01/README contains this bit: WHERE IS THE DODUMENTATION? All of the documentation is currently in POD format in the Regex.pm file. If you install the module using the standard method you should be able to read it by typing at a comand prompt. There seems to be a command ("perldoc Tie::Hash::Regex", perhaps?) missing, and an extraneous space before "read it by typing". Is my browser acting up, is search.cpan.org doing weird stuff, or is the file actually wrong? Cheers, -- Philip Newton <philip.newton@gmail.com>

Not to mention a really weird spelling of "DOCUMENTATION" ! Show quoted text

No. You're absolutely right. There's a problem with the way I generate README from README.xml (http://svn.mag-sol.com/Tie-Hash-Regex/trunk/README.xml). I'll fix it over the weekend. Thanks for pointing it out. Dave... p.s. I've bounced this into the CPAN RT so I can track the ticket. I suppose I also need to update the documentation for many of my CPAN modules to recommend that people use RT when reporting bugs. Thanks for reminding me of that too :-)
Fixed some weeks ago. But, bizarrely, only just released to CPAN. See version 1.02. Dave...
